Event Description: Relay For Life of Calvert County is a community based non-competitive walking event that brings together more than 750 community members to CELEBRATE the lives of those who have battled cancer, REMEMBER those we have lost, and empower individuals and our community to FIGHT BACK against this terrible disease. Businesses, churches, organizations and community members form teams consisting of cancer survivors, caregivers, family, friends, and co-workers. Teams raise money prior to the event by conducting a variety of fundraising activities. Teams also have fundraising activities at their campsite to include food, drink, crafts, games, dunk tank, moon bounce and more during the Relay For Life event. Join us to walk the track and enjoy a variety of activities and great food and drink, while live entertainment and music fill the air from the main stage. Local breweries and wineries will have booths. Fantastic items are on display in our Treasure Trove Tent with a chance to win one with a $1 chance. Fun for the whole family and admission is free and is open to the public.
