​Comptroller Franchot Announces Forbearance for Business Tax Returns and Payments - Jan 2021 - Filing and payment deadlines for certain Maryland business taxes and quarterly estimated income tax returns and payments that would be due in January, February and March 2021 until April 15, 2021 have been extended.  No interest or penalties will be assessed and there is no need to file a request for an extension.  Cllck here for the full press release.

  • To help Maryland’s food and fiber producers, harvesters and primary processors adjust to the business disruptions caused by COVID-19, MARBIDCO is offering loans (with a very quick turnaround time) through it’s new Pandemic Adjustment Loan Fund
Maryland Restaurant Relief Fund | CLICK HERE
  • Without question, COVID-19 has put incredible stress on the restaurant industry. That’s why OLD BAY, McCormick For Chefs, and CORECares have joined forces to offer support to local Maryland restaurants impacted by COVID-19.
Professional Beauty Association – COVID-19 Relief Fund | CLICK HERE
  • The PBA COVID-19 Relief Fund will provide $500 to licensed beauty professionals who are unable to work due to COVID-19. The funding is intended to be emergency aid for short-term immediate needs such as food and bills. Application lists the following as ‘beauty professionals’: barbers, cosmetologists, estheticians, nail technicians and salon owners.
Maryland Historical Trust – Historic Preservation Non-Capital Grant | CLICK HERE
  • Nonprofit organizations (including state agencies) and local jurisdictions may apply for Non-Capital Grants. These grants provide support for a wide variety of research, survey, planning, and educational activities involving architectural, archaeological, or cultural resources. Eligible activities may include preservation plans, historic and cultural resource surveys, educational outreach programs, and National Register nominations.
