Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Guidelines - On June 1, 2023, the Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance posted its updated Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) guidelines. The document has been updated regarding certain provisions addressed in the Department of Transportation (DOT) final rule published on May 2, 2023. MarylandSaves, created by the State of Maryland, is designed to help. They provide a safe, trustworthy automatic WorkLife Savings Account for anyone whose employer signs them up or who sign up themselves.
MarylandSaves is easy for employers and employees. Registration is quick and FREE: there is no charge to employers - in fact, the State will waive a $300 annual registration fee for employers that sign up. The program is active now. For more information visit here.
